All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to update product prices, shipping fees, promotions, and discounts at any time. Any price changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Payment must be completed at checkout before your order is processed.

We may use secure third-party payment providers to process payments. EcoWick does not store your full payment card details.

Pricing and promotional claims must be clear and accurate under New Zealand fair trading rules, including online selling rules around discounts and advertised prices.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you agree that all information provided is accurate and complete.

After your order is placed, you may receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not guarantee acceptance if there is an error, stock issue, payment issue, or other problem.

EcoWick reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order if:

The order details are incomplete or incorrect
There has been a pricing, product, or website error

If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will arrange a refund for the amount paid.

Once a custom order has been confirmed or production has started, it may not be possible to cancel, change, return, or refund the item unless it is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or required by law.

7. Shipping and Delivery

EcoWick ships orders within New Zealand.

Order processing and delivery timeframes are estimates only. Delays may occur due to courier delays, public holidays, weather, incorrect address details, high order volumes, or events outside our control.

Please ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout. EcoWick is not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

8. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled according to our Return & Shipping Policy.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. The Consumer Guarantees Act sets minimum guarantees around product safety, quality, and usability, and may provide remedies such as repair, replacement, or refund when those guarantees are not met.

Change of mind returns may be accepted at EcoWick’s discretion only if the item is unused, in original condition, and returned within the required timeframe.

Used candles, opened diffusers, used wax melts, wax sachets, custom products, personalised items, and opened gift boxes may not be eligible for return unless they are faulty, damaged, incorrect, or required by law.

9. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

A clear description of the issue
Photos of the item
Photos of the packaging if the parcel arrived damaged

Once reviewed, we may offer a replacement, refund, store credit, or another suitable solution depending on the situation and your rights under New Zealand consumer law.

EcoWick products must be used safely and responsibly.

When using candles, wax melts, diffusers, or fragrance products, please follow all product labels, warnings, and care instructions.

General safety guidance:

Never leave a burning candle unattended
Keep candles away from children and pets
Keep candles away from curtains, bedding, paper, plants, and flammable items
Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface
Do not burn candles near draughts or open windows
Trim the wick before use if required
Do not move a burning candle or hot wax
Use wax melts only with suitable burners or warmers
Keep diffusers away from children, pets, polished surfaces, fabric, and open flames

EcoWick is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss caused by misuse, unsafe use, failure to follow instructions, or use of products for purposes they were not designed for.

11. Allergies and Sensitivities

EcoWick products may contain fragrance oils, wax, botanical elements, decorative materials, or other ingredients that may not be suitable for everyone.

If you have allergies, sensitivities, asthma, or concerns about fragrance products, please review product details carefully before purchasing or contact us before placing an order.

Stop using a product immediately if irritation, discomfort, or an unwanted reaction occurs.
